This contemporary project with material of the same name originated in Deventer. People talk about the Bible and the life questions that concern them. There are now more than 125 groups in the Netherlands and Belgium that work with this method and materials.

World Youth Days

World Youth Day was created in 1984 by Pope John Paul II to encourage young believers and as an important part of evangelization. World Youth Days take place every 3 years.

Pilgrimage site in Dokkum

A pilgrimage site has been created in Dokkum at the spot where Boniface was murdered. At this place you will find a source with a chapel and you will also find the statue of Blessed Father Titus Brandsma.

Taize meeting

Taizé is a village in Burgundy where, under the inspiring leadership of Frére Roger Schutz, a special place for prayer and meeting has emerged. Every year many young people from all parts of the world come together here. Meditative songs, icons and silence play an important role in the celebrations.

Interfaith peace meeting

The meeting at which Pope John Paul II convened representatives of the various world religions in Assissi in 1986 for a prayer of peace. The community of Sant Egidio annually organizes the Assembly of Peoples and Religions to strengthen the common commitment of religions for peace.

All Souls Day everywhere

Gives a new impetus to this originally Catholic memorial day on November 2. Cemeteries are decorated hospitably in the evening so that relatives have the opportunity to commemorate the deceased.
