What do women hate about men? Ask ten different women and the list becomes longer and longer with minor and major annoyances. This article lists ten things, from doubting and swearing to showing too little affection and jealousy, that many women find annoying. Good to be aware of as a man and interesting and perhaps recognizable as a woman.
1. Dominance
Women like to feel safe with a man. That doesn’t mean they want him to make all the decisions. In a relationship you make many decisions together. Everyone wins if you leave room for each other’s feelings and needs. Compromises sometimes have to be made. Women really hate too much male dominance.
2. Doubters
It is almost contradictory to the greatest annoyance, but women find a doubting man almost as bad as a dominant man. He has to make a decision, right or wrong, but a lot of women hate a man who has doubts.
3. A man who is not romantic
Thirdly, a relationship annoyance comes up. Many women want some form of romance in their relationship. If their husband has no feeling for this at all, it is disappointing for many women. Women hate a relationship without romance.
4. Men swearing
It turns out that women really hate it when a man swears and rants a lot. Cursing and swearing were generally not appreciated by women. They find it rude, unintelligent and ashamed when men swear in front of their colleagues, friends or parents without actually realizing it.
5. Not showing intimacy
Men who show little intimacy outside of sexual intimacy do not make most women happy. However, it only comes in fifth place. Cursing and doubting are often experienced as annoying.
6. Boring men
Women hate boring men. Are you very predictable in everyday life? And predictable in the relationship? Women don’t like that at all. Eat, watch TV at 8:00 PM and go to bed at 11:00 PM. That is not exciting and challenging. Men who ask their wife or girlfriend out once during a long relationship or who occasionally do something crazy are appreciated more.
7. Not being put first
Women hate it when they get the idea that they don’t come first for men. This has to do with a feeling of not being appreciated. Women find it very annoying to receive attention only after all other matters. For example, when men always naturally put work first, put friends first, put family first, etc.
8. Too much self-confidence
Women hate arrogant men and men with too much self-confidence. Modesty is attractive. Considering points 1 and 2, women seem to strongly gravitate towards modest men who are balanced. Confident but not too self-righteous.
9. Jealous men
Women really hate jealous men. Women see this as a sign that their man does not trust them. They cannot appreciate this character trait.
10. Not committing
Women hate men who can’t commit. They want a partner who commits to them and enters into a monogamous relationship with them. Most women don’t want to know about a man who fantasizes about or has several girlfriends himself. They expect to be able to rely on their husband and to be their husband’s only one.
