People learn in different ways. Psychologist David Kolb has distinguished four different learning styles; four ways a person learns. Kolb has described what Kolb’s learning styles, learning cycle and learning phases exactly entail.

With the test you can discover your preferred learning style(s). People have usually unconsciously used or mastered a certain way of learning over the years. Through the questionnaire you can find out what your learning preference or your learning style is. Although everyone uses all four learning styles, according to Kolb there is usually one or two predominant learning styles. It is important to answer based on how you actually act and think. It’s not about how you would like to act or behave . In any case, there are no right or wrong answers: one answer is not better than the other.

Learning style questionnaire

With the questionnaire you can find out what your personal way of learning is and how you deal with daily situations (in training or work situation). You will be presented with 12 statements, each with 4 answer options per statement. The aim of these 4 options is to indicate in which order or ranking they are most applicable to you. You do this by assigning a number ranging from 1 (least applicable) to 4 (most applicable) to the 4 options. For a statement that best indicates your way of learning, place the number 4. And for an answer that least indicates your way of learning, place the number 1 (per item/line horizontally).

Note: you may use each digit only once . So divide the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 among the answer options.
