Mensa
Mensa International was founded in the United Kingdom in 1946. The Dutch variant followed in 1963.
The association’s objectives are:

Hundreds of activities are organized at the mensa to bring the members together . Members can also contact each other individually for activities. Because of the large selection, there is actually an interesting day for every member to experience. Most members see the mensa as a kind of family, because there is a relaxed atmosphere and people simply interact with each other on more or less the same level.
Join
Not everyone can become a member. Once you have achieved a score in the 98th or 99th percentile by taking an approved test, you can become a member of the mensa if you wish. What does this actually mean; Different IQ tests can yield different scores. For example, a score of 132 can be achieved on one test and the same score can yield 144 points on a subsequent test. That is why the mensa uses percentiles. Only if you have a score of the 98th or 99th percentile in a standard intelligence test is it possible to become a member of the mensa.
Nowadays, anyone can take a home test. This is also the first step in obtaining membership of the mensa.
