Being rich is relative: having money or being happy!

It is the ultimate goal for many people, to be rich so that you don’t have to do anything anymore. It gives you the opportunity to decide what you do with your life and how you will organize it further. It greatly simplifies living conditions because one can buy everything. But of course there is a downside to that wealth. Happiness in love and health should also be given great importance. Happiness does not increase because one has a lot of money. So why is being rich a relative concept?

Being rich is a relative concept

  • Having money is useful
  • Are people happy?
  • What about health?
  • As Dutch people we are relatively rich!
  • Tip to get assets for later!
  • What if you win the lottery?
  • You cannot take money with you after your death

Having money is useful

Having sufficient capital and money ensures that you are in control. No longer bothered by a demanding employer, because you can live well on the money. It gives you the opportunity to do fun things whenever you want. It gives you a lot of freedom, so you no longer have to bother others. You can get what you want done. So having money is always useful. But having a lot of money is of course not everything, because there are more things in life than just wealth. Which aspects of life are important to people?

Are people happy?

Being extremely rich does not mean that one is happy. Others who are less fortunate are always preying on you because you have a lot to spend. If you have a love, the question is always whether it comes from the love itself or the love for money. It can significantly influence the level of happiness. In addition, you will have to deal with people who always want something from you, i.e. money. Wealth is therefore a relative concept. Of course there are many who have a lot of money and happiness in one word, but in reality this does not have to be the case. Envy and jealousy can have a major impact on life, and even loneliness occurs at the top. With all the comforts around you, you can feel quite uncomfortable.

What about health?

If you have all the money in the world, but you are seriously ill, you won’t buy much with it. You may be able to use the money to purchase an alternative method of healing, but being so ill is terrible for everyone. You undoubtedly buy the best treatment method available, but if it does not help your health, then you will not gain anything from it. You would like to exchange all the money you have for good health. This is the primary relativity of being wealthy. Ok, if you have good health you can enjoy life, but it can also come to an end.

As Dutch people we are relatively rich!

In itself, we are not all that bad in our country. Many government regulations have ensured that everything is properly arranged. If we get sick, there is health insurance. In addition, everyone has the right to a minimum income, so that the basic necessities of life can be met. In other countries, such as the Sahel, people die of hunger or due to the lack of correct or timely treatment. In that respect, everything is well arranged here and we often forget that.

Tip to get assets for later!

Just assume that you can’t just become rich. The only way is to do something about it yourself. You can set aside gross money yourself, so that you make optimal use of tax arrangements. Consider a bank savings account. So you don’t have to pay tax, which means you immediately save a lot on that amount. In addition, interest payments are also not taxed. You can leave the benefit at retirement age, so that you have more money to spend. This way you can work on some nice pocket money for later. It gives you the opportunity to raise a small amount of capital from your income.

What if you win the lottery?

Imagine if you happen to win a lottery. The amounts may be considerable, but we do not assume that you will get the jackpot. Of course, you can do a lot with a ton or two. If you win that much money, the question is what you will do with it. Buying a car, taking long trips and expensive clothes ensure that the money is used up within a short period of time. You lived in luxury for a while, but you soon lost it again. In that case, it is up to you to decide what is more important. Do you want to use all or part of the small power directly or do you do something else with it? You can also set aside the small capital in, for example, an annuity policy, so that it grows over time. It gives you the opportunity to have some nice pocket money when you retire or if you stop working early. So take advantage!

You cannot take money with you after your death

People who are rich or very poor are all equal. The moment one dies, all the wealth one has accumulated around oneself is no longer of any use. One simply cannot take objects and money with them. The only reassuring thing can be that the relatives are left in relative luxury, so that they lack nothing.
